Smiles and Tears

Dear Rancho Del Rey friends,

Our dream team staff took the whole gang camping for 2 nights this past weekend.  Mothers and day visitors (such as myself and Dad – Hank – who don’t love sleeping in tents) participated in the crazy fun and the wonderful times of sharing that happens outside in the fields, after lots of playing, and around the campfire. Many tears were shed as the boys opened their hearts during a sharing time called “Deja Te Cuento” (“Let Me You My Story”).

The Lord ministered and healed hearts and made our time together so much fun… Some of you will recognize Antonio Galvan (the tall kid), an alum from a few years ago visiting for the weekend. Juan returned last week (much larger than when he left), we have a new boy, Roberto, and little Oscar was taken by his mom back home. Pray for him!

On a sad note, the father of our new cook, Enrique Peña, died Monday night of a sudden heart attack. He was 74 but was so very strong and such a loving father and godly man; he will be greatly missed. Please pray for comfort for the Peña family.

Thanks for rejoicing and crying with us…

Dan Moller

(The kids are chanting “another camping trip” at the end. :-))

  1. I enjoyed this video and the prior one with the fishing expedition a whole lot. It makes me feel closer to everyone, even though I’m over 1000 miles away. God bless each and every one of you. It was good to see Antonio with you. God’s blessings to each one of you, Margie

    • God bless you Danny and Hank. Yes seeing the video makes us feel closer and more a part of this wonderful ministry. How could we not love these boys! Keeping you all in our prayers. Dave and Debbie.

  2. So pleased that the boys could have the opportunity. Glad it was both fun and cathartic. Keep up the good work.

  3. Thank you for sending this great video. It is a testimony to God’s utter faithfulness to all of you who serve Him at the Ranch.
    God Bless you all.
